| Personal History | Born 2331 on Vulcan and has one sister, seven years younger. Upon coming of age he attended the Vulcan Science Academy specializing in xenobiology and biology, soon after taking a position with the Federation on Starbase 201. After several years of making significant scientific process, he felt as if his work was stagnating and wanted more of a challenge. His father suggested a career in Starfleet. Tepic thought it a bit strange that his father would make such a suggestion, but he found out from his mother that his own grandfather had been a part of the founding of the fledgling Starfleet and found that their ideals were...agreeable. Tepic's application to the academy was sponsored by the commanding officer of Starbase 201 and he began his studies in 2369. In an attempt to broaden his own skill set, he majored in the engineering field and was an exceptionally quick study. His first posting was aboard a Galaxy-class ship, the USS London, as an engineering officer and was promoted to Lieutenant (j.g.) soon after and transferred to the USS Protean. |
