| General Overview | At first, she is very aloof and avoidant to new people that come into her life. This is a defensive posture she takes to keep people from knowing right away that she is not a "normal" Vulcan. Once she has settled in and gotten to know who she is serving with, the real T'reth comes out and she becomes much more at ease. | |
| Strengths & Weaknesses | T'reth has a unique Vulcan personality. She was trained by her parents for a love of science, despite not having attended the Vulcan Science Academy. Acceptance of her own emotions allows her to be much more approachable and understanding to other races. Her reluctance to be herself when she first meets new people can sometimes backfire on her. She sees it as a means of protecting herself from ridicule or scorn, especially from other Vulcans. It can sometimes have the effect of people thinking she is a typical Vulcan--snobbish and looking down on other races for their lack of knowledge or not having control of their emotions. |

| Personal History | Born in 2339 on an outpost near the Romulan Neutral Zone, T'reth was raised by two Vulcan parents who were involved in the Unification effort started by Ambassador Spock. The outpost was inhabited by both Vulcan and Romulan families, all living together in harmony in an attempt to help bolster the effort. Her parents, both having been raised in the traditional Vulcan ways, went through their own growing pains in accepting unification, and allowing their children to learn how to show their emotions, but they finally accepted it fully and helped to integrate their children, and many Romulan children, to each race's way of thinking. T'reth was trained by several brilliant Vulcan and Romulan scientific minds at the outpost. Due to her acceptance, and use, of her emotions she would not have been able to attend the Vulcan Science Academy. However, she firmly believes that the training she received far surpassed what she would have received on Vulcan. In 2366, at the age of 27, T'reth was accepted to Starfleet Academy. Upon graduation, her first posting was at Epsilon IX Station as a science officer. The station allowed her to use her talents for numerous scientific experiments. She helped make many discoveries on the station for the benefit of the Federation. She later reported to the USS Crockett, an older Excelsior-class ship as the Assistant Chief Science Officer. This laid the groundwork for her to be placed on the Protean as the Chief Science Officer in 2377. |
